My twin sister Janie knew how much I wanted to breed Pokie to Goer, but I didn't have the money. She sold one of her horses and bought the breeding for me as my Christmas gift many, many years ago. I remember taking Pokie to be bred to Goer, seeing him in person, meeting Tom Simmons, and when PoGo was foaled, I had my dream horse. PoGo was almost 30 when he died, his dam died at 34.
