The actual pedigree of RM is known and so confirmed by those who bred and owned him, prior to Parsons' owning him. Parsons claims to have owned RM, and even registered foals sired by him back in the early 40’s. Yet family records of the Baldwins [RM previous owners] show that RM was still in Baldwins possession as late as 1949, and the ApHC record show foals sired by him in the Lander area as late as 1953 and 1954. ~Sherry Byrd, Researcher Pedigree corrected 1976: He Patches/Rainy Moon was born in Lander Wyoming...the brand on him is mine... Randall Van Patten. Sire is Idaho Reg. Morgan, out of a blue roan Windriver mare by a Standarbred. Erlander K.
